After completing a deal, the payment time comes and you have to show your professionalism once again. Making a good and quick invoice can save you time, make a good impression, and help you keep track of your income.

How To Make An Invoice Very Quickly?
Please follow the below step-by-step process to make a quick invoice with Papyrus.
- Go to the Flypapyrus website and log in using your credentials
- From the dashboard, you can see your “Unpaid Invoice” which has not been paid yet but sent to the customer, and “Paid Invoice” which has been paid already. If you are a fresh user, you will see a “0” here.

- To create a new invoice, click on the “Add Proposal/Invoice” button from the top left corner of the dashboard.

- You need to put the title for the invoice. The title should be short and precise so that the invoice can be understood. Then, you need to add the customer details. As you are a fresh user and did not add any customer details previously, you need to add the customer details by clicking “+” icon.

- When you click on the “+” icon you will see a pop-up with these details:

- Complete the details and click on the “Submit” button.
- The next option is to add the product or services. To add your products/services click on the dropdown menu. If you are adding a new product, click on the “+” icon. You will see a pop-up like this.

- Fill up the details and then click the “Submit” button to add the products.
- After you have added the customer details and product details, it is now time to finalize the amount for your customer. When you add products in the previous stage, the selected products and their prices will be shown here.
- If you want to give any discount to our customer, please add the discount amount in the discount box. The amount will be deducted from the main amount. You can set the discount as % or a fixed discount. You can choose that from the dropdown menu beside the “Discount” box.
- Also, you can select the invoice status: Paid or Unpaid. If your customer already paid you by other means you can select the paid option, otherwise you can select the Unpaid option.

- You can also set the “Total Tax” amount if you want to take tax from your customer. To add the tax, go to “Settings” and then click on the “Tax Settings.”

- If you want to collect tax, click on the “Yes” option.

- Fill up the details to add the tax information.

- Click on the “Add More” button to add the details. After you complete the details, click on the “Submit” button.
Additional Options:
- You can add additional notes for the invoice details, Terms & Conditions, and Cover letters. You can also add additional photos if you need to address your customer about your service.

- You can also select the invoice types: One-time or recurring. If this is a recurring invoice, you can select the recurring days from the option.

- Now comes the most interesting part and the final sending. You can match your invoice color with your customer’s logo color. That will impress your customer. When you are done with the details, you can preview the invoice for the final check. After confirmation, you can send the invoice directly through email from the dashboard.

- When you click on “Save and Email”, a pop-up will appear like this.

- You can edit the email body if you want.
- Before sending the email, you need to setup the email settings from the dashboard. For that, go to the settings > Email settings.

- Click on the “Email Type” and select from Gmail or SendInBlue. Initially we have these two options available

- Configure the details and click on “Submit.” Without configuring these, you cannot send any email from the dashboard.
